Overview

Warung Koppi 70's Sungai Buloh takes you on a nostalgic journey back to the classic Malay kampung breakfast scene, infused with a 70's charm that sets it apart from typical modern cafes. Nestled on a cliffside at Lot 1005-3, Lorong 4, Jalan Besar, its multi-level layout perfectly utilizes the natural topography, offering a unique dining atmosphere spread across three tiers. The top level aligns with the main road, while the cozy bottom floor hosts the cashier counter, making it both an aesthetic and functional experience.

This spot is ideal for morning gatherings, whether with friends or family, seeking comfort food that pays homage to traditional flavors. The menu centers around Malay breakfast staples like lontong, nasi lemak, mee rebus, and roti varieties including the much-praised Roti Kitab and Roti Kacang Pool. While some dishes such as the mee rebus might lean towards a lighter, less robust broth, and the nasi lemak sambal may not suit every palate, the overall selection strikes a good balance between authenticity and contemporary taste. Notably, their distinctive kopi butter offers a creamy kick that complements the dishes well, recommended for those eager to explore deeper Malaysian coffee profiles.

Warung Koppi 70's atmosphere echoes with a warm, laid-back vibe reminiscent of old-school Malay cinemas and the nostalgic spirit of P. Ramlee-era aesthetics. The environment encourages relaxation, a perfect sanctuary for casual weekend mornings. Despite its popularity and bustling crowds, especially around 9:30 AM when iconic items like Roti Sarang Burung sell out early, seating turnover is smooth and staff remain attentive and friendly.

Location-wise, parking is conveniently available downhill behind the restaurant, but guests are advised to exercise caution crossing the main road due to heavy traffic. This spot suits those craving an authentic kampung breakfast experience amidst a thoughtfully curated retro setting, blending comfort, flavor, and ambience. For anyone wanting to step into a timeless Malaysian morning ritual with a modern twist, Warung Koppi 70's Sungai Buloh is a charming destination worth returning to.

The setup is quite nice, chill morning session but not sure in the afternoon. Love the environment. There is 3 split level as the restaurant located at the cliff . Top will be same level with the main road, 2nd mid & 3rd most bottom were the cashier are. Currently, card transaction is not avialable but still can be by cash or QR pay. For me, I have been so long not using cash always Cashless. The Food, i have tried basic common beeakfast lontong & nasi lemak & nescafe ais. Lontong quite nice and taste but sambal nasi lemak lemak seems not for me. But maybe to others are different preference. I am more prefered dark filly cooked & garing kind of sambal. Parking, there are parking down the hill at the back of the restaurant. If you park the otherside of the road, you will be difficulty to cross the main as it heavy traffic. Especially with kids “hati-hati” Btw. Good to try, good to you you will come again

Went here over the weekend and it was packed with customers, but don’t worry people come and go quickly so it’s easy to find a table. We arrived around 9:30 AM and their roti, especially the Roti Sarang Burung, was already sold out, so come earlier if you want to try it. We ordered Mee Rebus, Kacang Pool, Lontong, and Roti Kitab. The Mee Rebus was just okay as the broth was a bit too thin, but still acceptable. The Lontong was slightly pricey but tasted good, around 6.5/10 for me. The highlight was definitely their roti menu ,the Roti Kitab and Roti Kacang Pool were the stars! My family especially loved the Roti Kitab. The portion was big and it gave that comforting, homemade taste. We also tried their Kopi Butter and it was really good .highly recommend giving it a try.Do come if you want the old kampung but make it aesthetic

Food was good and reasonably price. Portion of the food is moderate so we were able to try a few dishes. Even though there were lots of people, the food came reasonably fast. Staff are friendly. Environment and atmosphere are good. Will definitely come back to try other dishes.

It's a Malay classical setting cafe with P. Ramlee's vibes. Foods served are acceptable. However, a bit dissapointed with Mee Rebus Tulang as I can't taste tapioka/keledek flavor in it. Mostly nutty taste. Butter coffee is not for me and teh tarik ais is moderate.
